ABSTRACT

The proton treatment control system is the supporting software of the proton therapy device, which specifically coordinates and controls the status and work of each subsystem. In this study, the software architecture and hardware implementation of the proton treatment control system was developed and built a foundation for the overall debugging. Using C# programming language and WPF programming techniques, TCP network communication protocol specified by the proton treatment technical document and MVVM pattern in Windows system, the logic design and implementation of each level were studied. Meanwhile, the communication interface between the subsystems under TCP communication protocol was agreed. The logic design and research of the setup field and treatment field were carried out. And the User Interface was designed and developed using the above technology. The program realizes the communication and interaction between the proton treatment control system and each subsystem, so as to control and monitor the whole treatment process. The proton treatment control system provides a software basis for the remote overall debugging and on-line monitor and control of proton treatment device.

ABSTRACT

The development and potential application of brain-computer interface (BCI) technology is closely related to the human brain, so that the ethical regulation of BCI has become an important issue attracting the consideration of society. Existing literatures have discussed the ethical norms of BCI technology from the perspectives of non-BCI developers and scientific ethics, while few discussions have been launched from the perspective of BCI developers. Therefore, there is a great need to study and discuss the ethical norms of BCI technology from the perspective of BCI developers. In this paper, we present the user-centered and non-harmful BCI technology ethics, and then discuss and look forward on them. This paper argues that human beings can cope with the ethical issues arising from BCI technology, and as BCI technology develops, its ethical norms will be improved continuously. It is expected that this paper can provide thoughts and references for the formulation of ethical norms related to BCI technology.

ABSTRACT

SUMMARY: The anatomy study is part of the basic cycle of disciplines that composes Veterinary Medicine college curriculum, and its comprehension is essential for other courses subject understanding. However, the current student's profile, the reduced time frame of superior education programs, and the multidisciplinary approach nowadays have made anatomy teaching method outdated and ineffective. Addressing the problem we developed an interactive and multidisciplinary platform based on the blended learning methodology, which could serve as a valuable tool for bovine neuroanatomy comprehension. To produce a new study tool, photos from bovine specimens fixed in formaldehyde, platinated brain pieces sectioned in a metameric order, as well as histological slides of the bovine central nervous system were used. These materials were applied to photos and schemes production, that were correlated with image exams correlation, as well as written content and videotaped classes. The obtained content was compiled into a digital platform, that can serve as an effective additional method to bovine central nervous system study. Furthermore, our results serve as a guide for the development of other blended learning methodologies in veterinary medicine and anatomy teaching. The platform provides a great tool for those who wish to accomplish a better understanding of bovine neuroanatomy and its clinical, surgical and image diagnosis correlations.


El estudio de la anatomía forma parte del ciclo básico de disciplinas que componen el currículo de la facultad de Medicina Veterinaria, y su comprensión es fundamental para el entendimiento de las materias de otros cursos. Sin embargo, el perfil del estudiante actual, la reducción de los tiempos de los programas de educación superior y el enfoque multidisciplinario actual han hecho que el método de enseñanza de la anatomía sea obsoleto e ineficaz. Abordando el problema desarrollamos una plataforma interactiva y multidisciplinar basada en la metodología blended learning, que podría servir como una valiosa herramienta para la comprensión de la neuroanatomía bovina. Para producir una nueva herramienta de estudio, se utilizaron fotografías de especímenes bovinos fijados en formaldehído, piezas de cerebro plastinadas y seccionadas en un orden metamérico, así como láminas histológicas del sistema nervioso central bovino. Estos materiales se utilizaron en la producción de fotos y esquemas, que se correlacionaron con exámenes de imágenes, así como contenido escrito y clases grabadas en video. El contenido obtenido se compiló en una plataforma digital, que puede servir como un método adicional y eficaz para el estudio del sistema nervioso central bovino. Además, nuestros resultados sirven como guía para el desarrollo de otras metodologías de aprendizaje semipresencial en la enseñanza de la medicina veterinaria y la anatomía. La plataforma proporciona una gran herramienta para aquellos que deseen lograr una mejor comprensión de la neuroanatomía bovina y sus correlaciones clínicas, quirúrgicas y de diagnóstico por imágenes.

When literature meets the Internet, it results in the creation of cyber-literature. This brings great novelties, not only because it expands the elaboration, production and scope of literature, but also because it allows the creation of digital platforms for reading and writing. Among the pages, the most representative is Wattpad, a website with 94 million users and the cradle of today's best sellers. This article explores this phenomenon, allowing the reader a brief glimpse into the vast new world of literary platforms, including a short story by the author on a particularly sensitive topic

ABSTRACT

Resumo O papel da bioética na promoção de espaços educativos e deliberativos representa uma demanda para viabilizar a inclusão social de grupos vulneráveis. Neste escopo, e com intuito de validar método de aplicação da deliberação em ambientes virtuais, realizou-se a terceira versão da ação "O caminho do diálogo", que promoveu, entre idosos, discussão acerca do impacto da pandemia de covid-19 nos processos de inclusão e, entre acadêmicos de bioética, debate sobre fragilidades, valores éticos, crenças e potencialidades da inclusão da proteção animal, veganismo, crise hídrica, saúde mental, deficiências múltiplas, refugiados, moradores em situação de rua, violência contra mulheres, sexualidade e gênero e educação digital. Este artigo relata a experiência dessa intervenção e discute a bioética no contexto da deliberação, com intenção não de trabalhar formalmente conceitos de bioética, mas de introduzir a perspectiva bioética pelo diálogo interdisciplinar como meio de identificar vulnerabilidades e debater soluções para promover a inclusão.


Abstract The role of bioethics in promoting educative and deliberative spaces represents a demand to make the social inclusion of vulnerable groups viable. In this scope, and aiming to validate the method of applying deliberation in virtual environments, we carried out the third version of the " O caminho do diálogo " (The path of dialogue) action, which promoted, among older adults, a discussion about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the inclusion processes and, among bioethics academics, a debate on fragilities, ethical values, beliefs and potentialities of inclusion of animal protection, veganism, water crisis, mental health, multiple disabilities, refugees, homeless people, violence against women, sexuality and gender, and digital education. This article reports this interventions experience and discusses bioethics in the context of deliberation, intending not to formally work bioethics concepts, but to introduce the bioethical perspective by using interdisciplinary dialogue as a means of identifying vulnerabilities and debating solutions to promote inclusion.


Resumen El papel de la bioética al promover espacios educativos y deliberativos representa una demanda de inclusión social de grupos vulnerables. Para validar el método de aplicación de deliberación en entornos virtuales, se realizó la tercera edición de la acción "El camino del diálogo", que levantó, entre los mayores, la discusión sobre el impacto de la pandemia del Covid-19 en los procesos de inclusión y, entre académicos de bioética, un debate sobre las debilidades, valores éticos, creencias y potencialidades de la inclusión de la protección animal, veganismo, crisis hídrica, salud mental, múltiples discapacidades, refugiados, personas sin hogar, violencia contra la mujer, sexualidad y género, y educación digital. Se describe aquí esta intervención y se discute la bioética de la deliberación, con la intención no de trabajar formalmente conceptos de bioética, sino de introducir la perspectiva bioética mediante el diálogo interdisciplinario como mecanismo de identificación de vulnerabilidades y debate de soluciones inclusivas.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To report the pre-deployment analysis of a digital system to transfer patient information during physicians' obstetric shift sessions. Methods: A literature review explored evidence concerning electronic handover applications in hospitals. A survey met local approaches used to shift changing and the expectations of managers' stakeholders. To explore local practices, we analyzed a sample 251 obstetric handovers. Finally, requirements for the system were listed, and end-users evaluated mockups of the proposed design. Results: From the literature review, easy-to-use and integration with existing systems were the most critical requests to achieve user adherence. The main system requirement was using the hospital infrastructure to ensure full access to the current medical record. Mockup validation by end-users pinpointed items to improve a complete implementation and the positive acceptance of prefilled structured entries. Conclusions: There are blockages to overcome deficits in the quality of the information in clinical handovers to safely transfer patient care between doctors' shifts.


Objetivo: Relatar a análise pré-implantação de um sistema para transferência de dados clínicos durante as sessões de plantão obstétrico. Métodos: Uma revisão de literatura explorou evidências sobre sistemas hospitalares em uso. Um questionário levantou abordagens empregadas e as expectativas das partes interessadas. Para explorar as práticas, analisamos uma amostra de 251 transferências de plantão. Os requisitos para o sistema foram listados e os usuários finais avaliaram protótipos de interface. Resultados: A partir da revisão da literatura, a facilidade de uso e a integração com sistemas eletrônicos existentes foram os quesitos mais críticos para alcançar a adesão dos usuários. O principal requisito de sistema foi utilizar a infraestrutura do hospital para garantir o acesso ao prontuário eletrônio. Na validação das interfaces, identificaram-se itens de melhoria antes da implementação plena e uma aceitação de entradas estruturadas, pré-preenchidas. Conclusões: Há desafios para superar déficits na qualidade da informação clínica trocada em sessões de transferência de plantões médicos, para garantir a segurança do atendimento ao paciente.

Resultados: partir de la revisión de la literatura, la facilidad de uso y la integración de los sistemas electrónicos existentes para las preguntas más críticas para alcanzar el objetivo de los usuarios. O principal requisito de sistema para utilizar una infraestructura del hospital para garantizar o acesso ao prontuário eletrônio. Na validação das interfaces, identificaram-se itens de melhoria antes da implementação plena e uma aceitação de entradas estruturadas, pré-preenchidas. ABSTRACT Purpose Evaluate blue-violet light filter and additional power of +0.40 D in the near zone ophthalmic lenses, on convergence, accommodative functions, and symptoms of digital asthenopia (DA). Methods Randomized study in cross-over design conducted on 49 volunteers (age, 29 ± 5.5 years; male: female, 18:31). Each subject wore test (+0.40 D in the near zone) and control lenses (regular single vision) for 4 weeks in randomized order. Both lenses had a selective blue-violet light filter. A baseline measurement was taken with the subjects' current updated glasses. Accommodation amplitude (AA) and near point of convergence (NPC) were measured binocularly with the RAF ruler. DA was evaluated by a questionnaire. Results No significant difference (p=.52) was found for AA comparing baseline (11.50±1.88 D), test (11.61± 1.62 D), and control SV lenses (11.88±1.50 D). No significant difference was found for NPC (p=.94), between baseline (6.50 ± 2.89cm), test (6.71± 3.49) and control SV lenses (6.82± 3.50 cm). No significant difference was found comparing test and control SV lenses in symptoms of DA (p=0.20). Conclusions The +0.40 D lenses have no negative impact on convergence or loss of accommodation power. The +0.40 D and control SV lenses had a similar impact on attenuating symptoms of DA.


RESUMO Objetivo Avaliar os efeitos do uso de lentes oftálmicas com filtro seletivo de luz azul-violeta, sem e com poder adicional de + 0,4D na zona de perto nas funções de acomodação e convergência e para sintomas de astenopia digital (AD). Métodos Ensaio clínico controlado, randomizado e mascarado, com 49 voluntários (idade, 29 ± 5,5 anos; masculino: feminino, 18: 31). Cada participante usou lentes de teste (+0,40 D na zona de perto) e controle (visão simples), por 4 semanas de forma randomizada. Ambas as lentes tinham filtro seletivo de luz azul-violeta. A medição inicial (baseline) foi feita com os óculos atualizados de cada participante. A amplitude de acomodação (AA) e o ponto de convergência próximo (PPC) foram medidos binocularmente com a régua RAF. A AD foi avaliada por um questionário. Resultados Não houve diferença estatisticamente significante (p=0,52) para as medidas de AA comparando as lentes baseline (11,50±1,88 D), teste (11,61±1,62 D) e controle VS (11,88±1,50 D). Nenhuma diferença significativa foi encontrada para a medida do PPC (p=0,94), entre as lentes baseline (6,50 ± 2,89cm), teste (6,71±3,49) e controle VS (6,82±3,50 cm). Nenhuma diferença significativa foi encontrada comparando lentes teste de VS e controle nos sintomas de AD (p=0,20). Conclusões As lentes com +0,40 D não têm impacto negativo na convergência ou na perda de acomodação. As lentes +0,40 D e controle VS, tiveram impacto semelhante na redução dos sintomas de AD.

ABSTRACT

The use of telehealth is becoming a prevalent feature in clinical practice worldwide, partly because of advances in medical and telecommunications technology. The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has been a key driver in justifying the accelerated use of telehealth, leading to healthcare practitioners (HCPs) utilising virtual consultations more avidly. Although challenges remain, recent data have shown that remote consultations are feasible, safe and effective in South Africa (SA) and that HCPs should become proficient in conducting telehealth, virtual or remote consultations. These guidelines are based on the revised Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) General Ethical Guidelines for Good Practice in Telehealth (Booklet 10) and guidelines on remote or video consultations from the University of Oxford, the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and the Royal College of Psychiatrists. These guidelines aim to equip HCPs with the basic knowledge and skills pertaining to medicolegal, communication and practical aspects of telehealth and how to practise telehealth safely and effectively in primary care settings in SA during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.Keywords: telehealth; virtual consultations; remote consultations; primary care; guidelines; ethics; medicolegal; communication.

ABSTRACT

Brain-computer interface (BCI) is a revolutionary human-computer interaction technology, which includes both BCI that can output instructions directly from the brain to external devices or machines without relying on the peripheral nerve and muscle system, and BCI that bypasses the peripheral nerve and muscle system and inputs electrical, magnetic, acoustic and optical stimuli or neural feedback directly to the brain from external devices or machines. With the development of BCI technology, it has potential application not only in medical field, but also in non-medical fields, such as education, military, finance, entertainment, smart home and so on. At present, there is little literature on the relevant application of BCI technology, the current situation of BCI industrialization at home and abroad and its commercial value. Therefore, this paper expounds and discusses the above contents, which are expected to provide valuable information for the public and organizations, BCI researchers, BCI industry translators and salespeople, and improve the cognitive level of BCI technology, further promote the application and industrial transformation of BCI technology and enhance the commercial value of BCI, so as to serve mankind better.

ABSTRACT

RESUMEN Fundamento: dotar a los profesionales de Estomatología de conocimientos para su actuación frente a la pandemia de la COVID-19 es una necesidad; realizarlo en un ambiente virtual, un desafío. Objetivo: describir el uso de la aplicación WhatsApp en un curso sobre la atención estomatológica en tiempos de la COVID-19. Métodos: se realizó una investigación descriptiva en los meses de mayo a junio de 2020 en el Hospital Militar Universitario "Manuel Fajardo Rivero" de Santa Clara, Villa Clara. Se utilizaron métodos teóricos: análisis-síntesis y enfoque sistémico; empíricos: revisión bibliográfica para la selección y fundamentación de contenidos del curso, técnica de lo positivo, negativo e interesante y el criterio de especialistas para la valoración del producto diseñado. Resultados: el curso estuvo estructurado en cuatro temas, con sus objetivos, contenidos, orientaciones metodológicas, tareas docentes y bibliografía básica. Concluido su diseño, fue valorado por especialistas e implementado en un ambiente virtual (WhatsApp) durante un mes. Se destacaron sus aspectos: positivo, la aplicabilidad de los contenidos impartidos; negativo, la limitación de la tecnología por carencias de teléfonos móviles; e interesante, la actualización permanente de los temas en consonancia con los artículos publicados en línea. Conclusiones: la aplicación WhatsApp se propone como una herramienta para promover la participación e interacción durante el curso y como un recurso didáctico que potenció el aprendizaje desde la educación a distancia.


ABSTRACT Background: providing dental professionals with knowledge for their performance while facing the COVID-19 pandemic is a necessity; doing it in a virtual environment is really a challenge. Objective: to describe the use of the WhatsApp application in a course on dental care in times of COVID-19. Methods: a descriptive research was carried out from May to June 2020 at the "Manuel Fajardo Rivero" Army University Hospital in Santa Clara, Villa Clara. Theoretical methods were used: analysis-synthesis and systemic approach; empirical ones: bibliographic review for the selection and foundation of course content, positive, negative and interesting technique and the criteria of specialists for the evaluation of the designed product. Results: the course was structured in four topics, with their objectives, contents, methodological guidelines, teaching tasks and basic bibliography. Once its design was completed, it was evaluated by specialists and implemented in a virtual environment (WhatsApp) for a month. Its aspects were highlighted: positive, the applicability of the contents taught; negative, the limitation of technology due to lack of mobile phones; and interesting, the steady updating of the topics in line with the articles published online. Conclusions: the WhatsApp application is proposed as a tool to promote participation and interaction during the course and as a didactic resource that promoted learning from distance learning.

ABSTRACT Objective: The study draws attention to designing a dyskinesia assessment system using a Kinect sensor to improve the efficiency of rehabilitation training. Methods: The login page design. Step 2: System functions setting. Relevant movement guidance content and rehabilitation evaluation content are incorporated in the system to make rehabilitation training efficient and orderly. Comprehensive data processing, evaluation, and export functions are necessary to reference rehabilitation physicians in diagnosis and treatment. Step 3: System modules design. Based on the system settings, corresponding functional modules have been designed and developed. With each module realizing its specific functions, it must be ensured that there is a certain degree of correlation between the modules. Step 4: The system function framework design. Results: A simple and comfortable login page is designed; 2. The system is capable of rehabilitation training and data management; 3. Specifically designed modules include sports collection module, rehabilitation training module, rehabilitation evaluation module, and information management module; 4. After logging in, the patient should first search for the rehabilitation plan in the rehabilitation training function module and then perform rehabilitation training regarding the rehabilitation plan. Kinect synchronously obtains patient sports information throughout the training process, and patients can obtain rehabilitation assessment information and automatically save it in the information management module. Conclusions: The Kinect-based dyskinesia assessment and training system designed in this study can heighten the efficiency of rehabilitation training for patients with dyskinesia, and it is highly suggested in clinical practice. RESUMO Objetivo: O estudo chama a atenção para o projeto de um sistema de avaliação de discinesia usando sensor Kinect para melhorar a eficiência do treinamento de reabilitação. Métodos: O design da página de login. Etapa 2: configuração das funções do sistema. Conteúdo de orientação de movimento relevante e conteúdo de avaliação de reabilitação são incorporados ao sistema para tornar o treinamento de reabilitação eficiente e ordenado. Funções abrangentes de processamento, avaliação e exportação de dados são necessárias para fornecer referência para médicos de reabilitação em diagnóstico e tratamento. Etapa 3: Projeto dos módulos do sistema. Com base nas configurações do sistema, os módulos funcionais correspondentes foram projetados e desenvolvidos. Com cada módulo realizando suas funções específicas, deve-se garantir que haja um certo grau de correlação entre os módulos. Etapa 4: O design da estrutura de funções do sistema. Resultados: Uma página de login simples e confortável é projetada; 2. O sistema é capaz de treinamento de reabilitação e gerenciamento de dados; 3. Módulos especificamente projetados incluem módulo de coleta de esportes, módulo de treinamento de reabilitação, módulo de avaliação de reabilitação e módulo de gerenciamento de informações; 4. Após o login, o paciente deve primeiro pesquisar o plano de reabilitação no módulo de função de treinamento de reabilitação e, em seguida, realizar o treinamento de reabilitação com referência ao plano de reabilitação. O Kinect obtém de forma síncrona informações sobre esportes do paciente durante o processo de treinamento, e os pacientes podem obter informações de avaliação de reabilitação e salvá-las automaticamente no módulo de gerenciamento de informações. Conclusões: O sistema de avaliação e treinamento de discinesia baseado no Kinect projetado neste estudo pode aumentar a eficiência do treinamento de reabilitação para pacientes com discinesia, e é altamente sugerido na prática clínica. Nível de evidência II; Estudos terapêuticos- investigação dos resultados do tratamento.


RESUMEN Objetivo: El estudio llama la atención para el diseño de un sistema de evaluación de la discinesia utilizando el sensor Kinect para mejorar la eficiencia del entrenamiento de rehabilitación. Métodos: Diseño de la página de inicio de sesión. Paso 2: Configuración de las funciones del sistema. El contenido de la guía de movimiento relevante y el contenido de evaluación de la rehabilitación se incorporan en el sistema para hacer que la capacitación en rehabilitación sea eficiente y ordenada. Las funciones integrales de procesamiento, evaluación y exportación de datos son necesarias para proporcionar referencia a los médicos rehabilitadores en el diagnóstico y el tratamiento. Paso 3: Diseño de los módulos del sistema. Sobre la base de la configuración del sistema, se han diseñado y desarrollado los módulos funcionales correspondientes. Con cada módulo realizando sus funciones específicas, debe asegurarse que existe un cierto grado de correlación entre los módulos. Paso 4: El diseño del marco de la función del sistema. Resultados: Se diseña una página de inicio de sesión simple y cómoda; 2. El sistema es capaz de entrenamiento en rehabilitación y manejo de datos; 3. Los módulos específicamente diseñados incluyen el módulo de recolección de deportes, el módulo de capacitación en rehabilitación, el módulo de evaluación de la rehabilitación y el módulo de gestión de la información; 4. Después de iniciar sesión, el paciente debe buscar primero el plan de rehabilitación en el módulo de función de entrenamiento de rehabilitación y luego realizar el entrenamiento de rehabilitación con referencia al plan de rehabilitación. Kinect obtiene de forma sincrónica la información deportiva del paciente durante todo el proceso de entrenamiento, y los pacientes pueden obtener información sobre la evaluación de la rehabilitación y guardarla automáticamente en el módulo de gestión de información. Conclusiones: El sistema de evaluación y entrenamiento de discinesia basado en Kinect diseñado en este estudio puede aumentar la eficiencia del entrenamiento de rehabilitación para pacientes con discinesia, y está altamente recomendado en la práctica clínica. ABSTRACT

Resumen: El presente artículo se circunscribe en el marco de la educación superior, analizando el entorno virtual de aprendizaje en la plataforma Moodle de la Universidad Técnica de Machala como primer centro universitario de la Provincia de El Oro, la cual se encuentra inmersa dentro de este proceso sistémico que es el avance tecnológico y también social. La metodología utilizada se enmarca en un enfoque mixto (cuantitativo-cualitativo) para lo cual se aplicó como técnica de recolección de datos un cuestionario en línea a un número de población de doscientos estudiantes de trece carreras de la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales del periodo académico 2019-2. El estudio evidencia que los estudiantes se han acoplado al uso de los recursos y actividades del Entorno Virtual de Aprendizaje basado en la plataforma Moodle como parte de su formación académica. Sin embargo, muchos estudiantes no interactúan correctamente respetando las normas de la virtualidad puesto que aún existe una ausencia de controles que no proporcionan autenticidad del usuario mediante el soporte de cámaras, la presentación tardía de tareas y evaluaciones que suelen ser propensas a la divulgación de los cuestionarios por medio de las redes sociales y dispositivos móviles. Aunque existan una serie de parámetros y rubricas para las calificaciones, se denota una pérdida de valores personales. El tema de la axiología en la educación resulta ser interesante, los docentes se encuentran interesados en identificar los aspectos a mejorar ante el comportamiento de los estudiantes frente al aprendizaje virtual, pues la tarea de la Universidad Técnica de Machala es formar en valores a los futuros profesionales en el Modelo Educativo Integrador Desarrollador adoptado desde el año 2016.


ABSTRACT: This article is circumscribed within the framework of higher education, analyzing the virtual learning environment in the Moodle platform of the Technical University of Machala as the first university center in the Province of El Oro, which is immersed within this systemic process which is technological and social advancement. The methodology used is part of a mixed approach (quantitative-qualitative) for which an online questionnaire was applied as a data collection technique to a population of two hundred students from thirteen careers of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the academic period 2019-2. The study shows that students conveniently use the resources and activities of the Virtual Learning Environment based on the Moodle platform as part of their academic training. However, many students do not interact correctly respecting the rules of virtuality since there is still an absence of controls that do not provide user authenticity through the support of cameras, late submission of assignments and assessments that are often prone to disclosure of the questionnaires through social networks and mobile devices. Although there are a series of parameters and rubrics for the qualifications, a loss of personal values ​​is denoted. The topic of axiology in education turns out to be interesting, teachers are interested in identifying the aspects to improve before the behavior of students in the face of virtual learning, since the task of the Technical University of Machala is to train in values ​​in the future professionals in the Developer Integrative Educational Model adopted since 2016.

SUMMARY: There is a lack of visualization on gross anatomy planes for the non-orthogonal sections, such as subcostal and intercostal oblique scanning planes of ultrasound imaging. The aim of the present study was to visualize the anatomical image of corresponding plane for the oblique ultrasound scanning using a virtual dissection system. the oblique gross anatomy plane was constructed by appropriate segmentation using a virtual dissection table. A suitable cutting of the body plane was accomplished by turning on and off the organ systems, particularly the skeletal system, category, and structure. The right hepatic vein (RHV), middle hepatic vein (MHV), and left hepatic vein (LHV) for the right subcostal oblique plane appeared in the single slice plane. The location of the liver, gallbladder, and kidneys differently appeared in the oblique anatomical plane and body position. The results of this study suggest that using a virtual anatomy system contributes to improving the sonographer's ability to understand anatomy.


RESUMEN: Existe una falta de visualización en los planos de anatomía macroscópica para las secciones no ortogonales, tal como los planos de exploración oblicuos subcostales e intercostales en las imágenes de ultrasonido. El objetivo del presente estudio fue visualizar la imagen anatómica del plano correspondiente para la ecografía oblicua mediante un sistema de disección virtual. El plano de anatomía macroscópica oblicua se construyó mediante una adecuada segmentación utilizando una mesa de disección virtual. Se logró un corte correcto del plano corporal al encender y apagar los sistemas de órganos, particularmente el sistema esquelético, la categoría y la estructura. La vena hepática derecha, la vena hepática media y la vena hepática izquierda para el plano oblicuo subcostal derecho aparecieron en el plano de corte único. La ubicación del hígado, la vesícula biliar y los riñones aparecieron de manera diferente en el plano anatómico oblicuo y en la posición del cuerpo. Los resultados de este estudio sugieren que el uso de un sistema de anatomía virtual ayuda a mejorar la capacidad del ecografista para comprender la anatomía humana.

RESUMEN: El uso de plataformas virtuales se muestra como un nuevo recurso didáctico que posibilita el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de forma dinámica. A grandes rasgos, permite el acceso a imágenes digitales en alta resolución mediante el uso de computadores, smartphones y/o tabletas. Portanto, este trabajo presenta nuestra metodología en el campo de la embriología de aves domésticas y la experiencia adquirida en el desarrollo de recursos para la enseñanza por medio de las tecnologías de la información y comunicación, de gran utilidad hoy en día en medio de la pandemia ocasionada por el nuevo coronavirus.


SUMMARY: Online platforms are a new didactic resource that enable an active teaching-learning process. In general, they allows access to high resolution digital images through the use of computers, smartphones and / or tablets. Therefore, this study presents our methodology in the field of domestic bird embryology and the experience acquired in the development of teaching resources through information and communication technologies, which are very useful nowadays, particularly in the midst of the pandemic caused by the new coronavirus.

ABSTRACT

Durante la pandemia COVID-19, la Cátedra de Cirugía y Traumatología Bucomaxilofacial I, de la Facultad de Odontología de la Universidad de Buenos Aires (FOUBA), ha implementado la educación virtual como alternativa a las clases presenciales, con el fin de continuar con los procesos formativos educacionales. El objetivo del presente trabajo fue describir y analizar la estrategia de enseñanza virtual implementada a través del campus virtual de la FOUBA. Un total de 172 estudiantes fueron evaluados mediante un examen oral de tipo coloquial por videoconferencia. Se consideró aprobado a quienes obtuvieron una nota igual o mayor a 4 (cuatro). Para el análisis, se realizó una comparación entre las notas obtenidas durante la evaluación parcial del año 2020 correspondiente a la cursada virtual, y las del año 2019 correspondiente a la cursada presencial. Se obtuvo como resultados que: año 2019: total 155 alumnos (5 libres y libre no aprobado). En la primer fecha de examen se presentó el 72,26% del alumnado (112 estudiantes). Aprobó el 82,14% (92 aprobados y 20 desaprobados), La media fue 4,46 (DS+-2,27). Año 2020: total 172 alumnos (8 libres y 1 libre no aprobado). En la primera fecha de examen se presentó el 86,05% del alumnado (148 estudiantes). Aprobó el 95,27% (141 aprobados y 7 desaprobados). La media fue 6,81% (DS+-1,73) (AU)

ABSTRACT

Brain-computer interface (BCI) can be summarized as a system that uses online brain information to realize communication between brain and computer. BCI has experienced nearly half a century of development, although it now has a high degree of awareness in the public, but the application of BCI in the actual scene is still very limited. This collection invited some BCI teams in China to report their efforts to promote BCI from laboratory to real scene. This paper summarizes the main contents of the invited papers, and looks forward to the future of BCI.

ABSTRACT

Brain-computer interface (BCI) is a revolutionizing human-computer Interaction, which is developing towards the direction of intelligent brain-computer interaction and brain-computer intelligent integration. However, the practical application of BCI is facing great challenges. The maturity of BCI technology has not yet reached the needs of users. The traditional design method of BCI needs to be improved. It is necessary to pay attention to BCI human factors engineering, which plays an important role in narrowing the gap between research and practical application, but it has not attracted enough attention and has not been specifically discussed in depth. Aiming at BCI human factors engineering, this article expounds the design requirements (from users), design ideas, objectives and methods, as well as evaluation indexes of BCI with the human-centred-design. BCI human factors engineering is expected to make BCI system design under different use conditions more in line with human characteristics, abilities and needs, improve the user satisfaction of BCI system, enhance the user experience of BCI system, improve the intelligence of BCI, and make BCI move towards practical application.

Este artigo tem por objetivo refletir sobre as possibilidades de atuação em psicoterapia da relação, psicodrama bipessoal e psicodrama interno, por meio de atendimentos on-line. Foram utilizados relatos de experiência para ilustrar as possibilidades em relação a etapas, instrumentos e técnicas. Ao longo da discussão, é clarificado que a ação espontânea do psicodramatista frente ao cliente é imprescindível. Portanto, no atendimento on-line, é possível a manutenção do aquecimento, a aplicação das técnicas e o manejo das cenas, considerando a necessidade do reconhecimento de cenário do paciente e do diretor, bem como da possibilidade do recurso da realidade suplementar para o alcance de cenas, objetos ausentes e personagens.(AU)


This article aims to reflect on the acting possibilities in relationship psychotherapy, bipersonal psychodrama, and internal psychodrama, through online activities. Experience reports were used to illustrate the possibilities in relation to stages, instruments and techniques. Throughout the discussion, it is clarified that the spontaneous action of the psychodramatist towards the client is essential. Therefore, in online care, it is possible to maintain the heating, to apply the techniques and to manage the scenes, considering the need to recognize the patient's and the director's scenario, as well as the possibility of using the supplementary reality to reach the scenes, missing objects, and characters.(AU)


Este artículo tiene como objetivo reflexionar sobre las posibilidades de actuar en psicoterapia relacional, psicodrama bipersonal y psicodrama interno a través de actividades en línea. Fueron utilizados relatos de experiencia para ilustrar como posibilidades en relação à etapas, instrumentos y técnicas. A lo largo de la discusión, é clarificado que acción espontánea del psicodramatista frente al cliente é imprescindible. Por lo tanto, en atendimiento en línea, es posible manutención de calefacción, aplicación de las técnicas y manejo das cenas, la necesidad de un reconocimiento del centro del paciente y el director, debido a la posibilidad de un recurso de realimentación suplementaria para el alcance de los cenas, objetos ausentes e personajes.(AU)
